The Architecture as Catalyst program is an innovative feature of the School of Architecture's graduate M.Arch curriculum. Each spring, Catalyst week offers the potential for a rigorous, immersive, transformative and creative break for students and faculty during the semester. Workshops are led by a governing faculty who hosts an outside guest (an educator, practitioner, artist) recognized as a leader within their field or specialty. Together, the instructors collaborate to meet the primary goal of catalyst: to expose students to themes and skill-sets which may not be addressed in the regular studio sequence. Each guest also delivers a lecture during the week, open to the design community.
Architecture as Catalyst 2014 runs from March 10-14.
The Catalyst Final Show Exhibition and Presentations begins at 2:00pm on Friday, March 14, in the Rapson Hall Courtyard.
